Our approach is grounded in precision, safety, and artistry. Every treatment plan is individually tailored following a comprehensive consultation, ensuring that recommendations align with your anatomy, concerns, and aesthetic goals.

We believe in individualized treatment plans and offer personalized consultations and treatment to enhance your natural features. Our range of treatments can address concerns of volume loss and wrinkles due to changes in facial anatomy over time. On your first visit one of our registered nurses or cosmetic doctors will take you through a comprehensive consultation to get to know you and your aesthetic goals and design a treatment plan that best serves you and your skin.

The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) has updated its guidance on advertising cosmetic injectables, restricting the use of terms like “anti-wrinkle injections” and “dermal fillers” in advertisements. This is because most cosmetic injectables contain prescription-only substances, and advertising the use or supply of such substances to the public is prohibited.

All treatments are delivered by trained medical practitioners or registered health professionals, following a detailed consultation to assess individual suitability and discuss potential risks, benefits, and alternatives.

FAQs

Your first consultation will be with one of our experienced registered nurses or cosmetic doctors

We believe in a comprehensive consultation. Together, we’ll discuss your skin, your ageing concerns and aesthetic goals, and talk through your treatment options and review your medical and aesthetic history. We will perform skin analysis and imaging with SkinCeuticals SkinScope.

During your consultation, we encourage you to ask questions, so you feel informed about your treatment options, and are an active participant in your treatment journey with us, whether or not you choose to proceed with treatment.

At Canberra Plastic Surgery, we believe in individualized treatment plans and offer personalized consultations and treatment to enhance your natural features. Positive ageing treatments will address concerns of volume loss and wrinkles due to changes in facial anatomy over time.

There are two types of ageing processes: intrinsic and extrinsic ageing. Intrinsic ageing affects the skin of the entire body and is the natural change our body goes through as we age. Extrinsic ageing compounds intrinsic ageing and is induced by environmental factors such as chronic sun exposure.

At Canberra Plastic Surgery we address the signs of intrinsic ageing such as the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, skin sagging or laxity and volume loss. We also address the signs of extrinsic ageing such as deep wrinkling, textural changes and features of photodamage.

Treatment may be done on the day if time permits. There is no pressure or expectation that you will proceed with treatment on the same day.

Our new client consultations are $100 as a deposit towards any therapies, and there is no pressure or expectation that you will proceed with treatment. During your consultation, we will discuss the costs associated with your treatment plan so that you can make informed financial decisions. Treatment costs vary depending on the treatment modality, product selection, individual anatomy, and degree of ageing.

This depends on your individual treatment plan, the degree of ageing, and your individual aesthetic goals. Typically, we treat fine lines and wrinkles every 3-6 months to maintain results, skin laxity concerns once per month for a treatment series with maintenance sessions every 6-12 months , and concerns of volume loss every 9-24 months.
