The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) has updated its guidance on advertising cosmetic injectables, restricting the use of terms like “anti-wrinkle injections” and “dermal fillers” in advertisements. This is because most cosmetic injectables contain prescription-only substances, and advertising the use or supply of such substances to the public is prohibited.

All treatments are delivered by trained medical practitioners or registered health professionals, following a detailed consultation to assess individual suitability and discuss potential risks, benefits, and alternatives.
