At different points in our lives maturity affects our appearance in different ways. In our 20’s we begin to see changes such as a decrease in skin hydration, sun damage and hormonal skin changes, all of which can speed up the onset of aging. Through our 30’s and 40’s we experience more prominent signs including decreased elasticity, broken capillaries and increased pore size. Wrinkles and volume loss also appear. By our 50’s and 60’s the affects on each of the layers – the skin, volume, muscle and bone – become apparent.

Skin rejuvenation procedures performed by the doctors and health professionals in this practice include:

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the ultimate biological skin rejuvenation treatment, as it utilises your own cells in the form of platelet-rich plasma to regenerate new skin tissue. The new approach appealing to people seeking a more natural method to facial rejuvenation is regeneration with your own cells and more specifically PRP. Blood is collected in special tubes and is centrifuged/spun for 5 minutes, plasma is then ready for intradermal injections, the procedure takes around 90 minutes.

Light Emitting Diode (LED) treatments with HEALITE II is the therapeutic use of incident light to photo modulate cellular function, improving healing times, relieving pain, subsiding active acne, promoting skin rejuvenation and others. HEALITE II can be used as a standalone therapy or as an adjunctive therapy with many other treatments. It has proved to be outstanding in accelerating wound healing and I would encourage you to allow me to support your treatment of acne patients with the use of this Healite. HEALITE II is the next generation in LED phototherapy previously known to many as OMNILUX.

Anti-wrinkle treatments are a non-surgical procedure whereby a small injection is administered into the wrinkle-causing muscles. This relaxes  the muscle  so it is unable to contract fully. Once the wrinkles are relaxed, the lines gradually smooth and new lines may be prevented from forming.

It takes 2-3 days for the treatment to begin taking effect and about 7 days to receive results that are indicative of full treatment results.

The effects usually last up to 4 months and  the effect may last longer with regular repeated treatments.

Muscle relaxing injections are also commonly used as a treatment for migraines and headaches as well as for excessive underarm sweating (Hyperhidrosis).

Dermal Fillers include a range of injectable gels made from  naturally occurring complex sugars that  replace or enhance skin volume. These sugars are  found within the tissues of living cells including human skin, and assists in skin hydration by attracting and holding water. It also combines with collagen and elastin to help provide skin structure and elasticity.

Fillers deliver a long-lasting (9-24 months, depending on the specific product), natural look and feel to the treated area with minimal or ‘no’ down-time.

Lips – Fillers can be used to enhance or rejuvenate both the body and the border of the lips and to treat lip lines.

Wrinkles,  Folds and Scars – Injectable gel can be placed below the skin’s surface to literally ‘fit in’ or ‘plump up’ the static wrinkles, folds and scars that are present at rest. Fillers diminish the depth of wrinkles and create a smoother more refreshed facial appearance.

Volume restoration and enhancement– Fillers enhance or restore volume in areas such as the mid-face and cheekbone area and provide more youthful contours to the jawline, chin and lower face.
